NFT Megaways, the first online slots game to use non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has recently been released by Evolution Gaming’s software developer Red Tiger.
Four unique CryptoPunk digital artworks that Evolution acquired earlier this year are included in the game. They're currently featured in the NFT Megaways game, a six-reel, seven-row slots game with a crypto pixelated universe.
The First of Many
CryptoPunks #914, #3008, #4701, and #8143, four distinct and exotic-looking characters developed by Larva Labs and now owned by Evolution, are at the core of the game. With the non-fungible tokens bought earlier this year, Red Tiger introduced the world's first NFT Megaways.
CryptoPunks are Wild symbols that only appear on the CryptoPunks Bar and substitute for all other paying symbols in NFT Megaways. If a CryptoPunk falls into the bar as part of a victory that includes low-paying symbols, the CryptoPunk will collect them.
The multiplier in the game grows by x1 for each low-paying symbol gathered and may reach up to x30. It's also possible for two CryptoPunks to land on the same spin, making things much more interesting. If this occurs, the multipliers will be put together, possibly resulting in some incredible winnings!
A Perfect Match
Evolution Gaming’s Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter commented on the announcement, saying that the business has a “long history of innovation and being first with distinctly innovative new ideas.”
"Our aim with all of our group brands is to provide gamers with the most feature-rich and vibrant gameplay possible. In the end, it's all about being unique and innovation, which is why the CryptoPunks were such a good match for us,” Haushalter said.
According to Haushalter, Evolution is in a unique position to help the crypto community by taking the world's first NFT on Ethereum and putting it in the world's first NFT-based slot.
“One of the big issues in this community is how to showcase your NFTs, and we thought this would be a very interesting way to do it, where a lot of people can appreciate them while also interacting with them in a totally new manner,” Haushalter said.
He added, "We are honored to now be a part of crypto-asset history." Try out NFT Megaways now for free or for real money on Winvio.
